✍🏼 Pre-Match Ramblings
Both Arsenal and Brighton will look to continue their perfect starts to the season, with Arsenal yet to concede a goal and Brighton having beaten Manchester United, both teams come into this game high on confidence.
Brighton have started the season extremely well under new coach Fabian Hurzeler with the German quickly getting them to play some exciting football. The same can be said for the Gunners who brushed aside Wolves in second gear, and fought valiantly against a top Villa side to take three points on the road, a feat which we didn’t manage to pull off even at home last season.
I would expected Mikel Merino to make the bench, with a substitute appearance possible for the experienced Spaniard who I don’t imagine would need much time to settle in to Arteta’s system. (Note: It came out sooner after writing this that Merino is a doubt with an arm injury) It will be very interesting to see who the goalkeeper on the bench is, with it probably being too soon for Neto to make a matchday squad ahead of his reported loan move to North London.
Short writings today, as I expect most of you are too busy F5ing in the hope of news of an attacking signing.
