✍🏼 Pre-Match Ramblings

Ange-ball returns to the Emirates on Saturday as Nottingham Forest chose to back Edu over their highly successful coach who took them into Europe in a decision widely criticized. During his time at Spurs Ange was uncompromising in his high-line style of play, even when it clearly isn’t working with the players available.

Forest under Nuno were a fantastic counter attacking outfit with players who were comfortable playing that way. Going from Nuno to Ange is like going from driving a Ford Focus to ASDA to driving a Semi-Truck to Iraq. It will be very interesting to see how Ange sets up Forest on Saturday – it has the potential to get messy fast for him if he goes straight in to his signature style of play.

As for Arsenal, fans are expecting Eze to get his first start in an Arsenal shirt after featuring for England in the international break. Madueke will likely keep his place on the right wing after playing some fantastic football for the national team. We could be seeing an all new front three of Eze, Gyokeres, and Madueke. If you’d have told me last season that by GW4 that is what our front line will look like, I would not have believed you.
